Zipwire off the Tyne Bridge in Support of Macmillan

On a blustery Sunday afternoon in Newcastle when, in the words of Peter Kay, "that fine rain that wets you right through" fell for large parts of the day, seven members of the Inspired team took the plunge in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event organised by online digital marketing company Mediaworks, saw 100 volunteers 'zip-wiring- from the Tyne Bridge, across to the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. As well as two of our Directors, several designers, and developers took part. However the big "hats off" went to Account Manager, Rachel - who had only joined Inspired 5 days before the event!

A relieved Rachel said afterwards: "I’m not sure how I got roped into jumping off the Tyne Bridge so soon in my Inspired career, but it was an amazing experience and a fantastic cause to support. I can’t wait to see what we are doing next!”
